Coveberry, part of the CareTech family, are a leading specialist healthcare provider, with Hospitals and centres throughout England, delivering wide ranging services in Adult Mental Health and Learning Disabilities, Specialist Brain Injury, Child and Adult Mental Health Services (CAMHS) including eating disorders, and social care for children with special needs.
We are currently looking to appoint a Part time Flexi Bank Catering assistant to join our team. Working Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursdays and Alternative Saturdays. (You may previously have held similar posts such as Chef)
The Person:
* Ideally will possess or be working towards a recognised qualification in catering.
* Experience working within a catering environment.
* Possess and present a friendly and positive attitude.
* Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
* Ability to work accurately and methodically within a busy environment and meeting set timescales.
The Role:
* To assist with the provision of food and beverages of a high standard for patients, staff and visitors.
* Support duty chefs with the preparation, cooking and serving of food.
* Assisting with all aspects of the maintenance of hygiene and safe working standards in all catering activities.
* Cleaning and washing up as required.

Cedar House is a 40-bed hospital for adults with learning disabilities, mental health issues, personality disorders, autism and challenging behaviours, who are detained under the Mental Health Act. Cedar House enjoys a beautiful rural location situated in the village of Barham, on the outskirts of Canterbury and is easily accessible by public transport, being on the main bus route between Canterbury and Folkestone.
