Catering Assistant
Full time: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm and every other Saturday morning
Start Date: Monday 21st February
£11.21 per hour
Job purpose
To assist the catering team with a number of daily responsibilities including prepping for occasions, service of food, organisation of events and maintenance of the hygiene and cleanliness of all Catering areas.
Team spirit
You must be a team player to be successful in this role – the existing teamwork in harmony with one another and would be looking for someone able to become apart of this.
Duties will include:
* Assist with food preparation
* Serve meals on a daily basis
* General housekeeping and cleaning of all Catering areas
* Following relevant policies and procedures
* Participation in the organisation of internal and private functions and events
Candidate specification:
* Experience within a Catering environment is desirable however not essential
* Previous Customer service experience is essential
* Able to work to a rota (including alternate Saturdays)
* Able to work under pressure
* Organised
* Hard-working
* Polite and presentable at all times
