Catering Assistant (Part-Time) 3 Month Fixed Term – 24 hours per week (Shift work, to be worked flexibly, 3 days over 7, including weekends) Salary: £9.01 per hour We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our small team of Catering Assistants. Our catering service provides a 4 week patient menu, using a cook/freeze food system.
We are looking for a motivated person who has experience in catering and the preparation, re-heating, cooking and serving of food and beverages. The successful candidate will have experience of food presentation, storing food products, relevant record keeping, be patient focused, possess high food and safety standards, have excellent communication skills, have a flexible and adaptable approach and work well within a team. The successful candidate will work in our two on site kitchens. Ideally you will have worked in a patient environment and possess good inter-personal skills with patients and relatives. FRENCHAY BRAIN INJURY REHABILITATION CENTRE Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, part of the Huntercombe Group, is a modern newly built independent hospital run in partnership with the NHS (North Bristol NHS Trust). It provides an inpatient Level 1 intensive brain injury rehabilitation service (29 NHS England funded beds) for the South West of England and has now refurbished its old building to provide a further 23 slower-stream neuro-rehabilitation beds (Level 2).
