Catering Assistant
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £11.50 – £23/hour
Immediate Catering Assistant Opportunities are available at London Heathrow Airport (TW6 1EW).
No experience is required as full training will be provided.
This position is an immediate start.
For this Catering Assistant role, we offer:
• £11.50 p/h basic + £23.00 p/h on Bank Holidays.
• Guarantee of a minimum of 37.5 hrs per week + Overtime.
• Free meal during shift.
• Immediate start.
The duties of the Catering Assistant will include:
• Serving hot and cold food from the food counter.
• Taking credit card payments (training provided).
• Replenish salad bar and hot and cold buffet
• Preparing hot and cold drinks.
• Maintaining the basic cleanliness of the restaurant floor area.
• Assist with kitchen porter duties during busy periods.
To be considered for this Catering Assistant position:
• You must be able to work 2 fixed shift patterns (0600 hrs – 1400 hrs & 1200 hrs).
• You will be required to work shifts which will include weekends and bank holidays.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Apply for a Criminal Record Check (refunded after 4 weeks).
• Supply a 5-year background check as part of the recruitment process.
Any experience as a Kitchen Assistant, Deli Assistant, Kitchen Porter, Chefs Assistant, Diner Lady, Coffee Shop Assistant, Barista, Café Assistant, Waiter, Waitress, Host, Hostess, and Food Counter Assistant will be highly desirable.
The airport has easily accessible bus services from Hounslow, Slough, Hayes and Feltham and via the TFL tube network directly to terminals 1,2 and 3.
