Overview:
Based in Sussex, we look after Food & Drink for one of the region’s largest employers, who have a forward-thinking attitude and approach to food, customer service and sustainability!
We are a team of genuinely passionate foodies who love the hospitality industry. We are always looking for new ways to push the boat out in terms of the quality of our food and service.
Monday – Friday, daytime only.
Current Pay £19,760 (We track the Living wage foundation).
Plus benefits. 20 days annual leave plus Bank holidays.
Purpose of the job:
* As a General Assistant you are the face of our business. You’ll be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and building great relationships with colleagues, customers, and clients.
* You will be someone who is able to multi task and not mind working in all areas of the business, whether it is vending services, hospitality, coffee bar or within the main restaurant.
* You’ll be a great team player and will work well with others to deliver excellent results.
* We are looking for an general assistant who brings excitement, energy and passion to work every day.
* Barista trained, or open to full training in this area.

* I share recommendations and top tips to make the guest’s experience even better
* I pay attention to the detail take pride in making sure that all counters and shelves look consistently amazing and make the food the hero
* I know the details and prices of all promotions so I can describe the savings and benefits for my customers
* I work with speed and efficiency and get the job done
* I follow all food safety requirements and maintain excellent standards relating to health & safety
You need to be this kind of person:
* Flexible and prepared to work across different areas within the food team and other services to deliver seamless service for my colleagues
* Proud of the service you give to colleagues and always thinking about things to say or do to anticipate colleagues wants or need
* Talking about what you can do and finding ways to say yes
* Open and receptive to feedback and prepared to try something different to help you to be better
* Understand why it’s important to follow Health & Safety processes and procedures and not cut corners
* Looking out for your own and your colleagues’ safety and wellbeing and calling out any inappropriate behaviors or working practices
* Actively keeping up to date with required training and take ownership for my behavior and performance
