Pertemps – Burton are currently recruiting for Catering Assistants to work in Burton on Trent.
The Catering Assistant will work 5 days a week on a rota, weekend work will be included.
The successful Catering Assistant duties will be:
Varied shifts between 7.30 am and 7.00 pm
Shifts could be to include a weekend and Bank Holidays.
Shifts are for a minimum of 6 hours per day during the above times
Training is provided by shadowing staff, reading of risk assessments, training documents, online videos
Work can involve but not exclusive to, cleaning, manoeuvring of heavy/large catering trollies, going onto wards, attending departments which are located onsite but in other hospital buildings, working in cold areas (coats/jackets/gloves are available to wear)
Uniform required: black top with short sleeves, black trousers with no pockets (not jeans), safety shoes that are non-slip, fluid resistant and steel toe capped
For food safety reasons we ask that staff do not wear jewelry (a wedding band with no jewels can be worn), no watch, no false nails, no false eyelashes, minimal make-up, no nail polish, no perfume/aftershave
