Location: Lister Hospital, Coreys Mill Lane, Stevenage, SG1 4AB
Shift Pattern: Monday- Sunday (5 days out of 7) 7:30am- 3:30pm or 10am-6pm
Pay: £11.45, plus enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays
We have temporary ongoing placement opportunities available for Catering assistants to work within East & North Hertfordshire Trust, Lister Hospital, Coreys Mill Lane, Stevenage SG1 4AB
As a catering Assistant you’re busy but never bored, working alone or as a part of team.

What you’ll be responsible for:
* Serving food on the wards
* Supporting in the Kitchen, cleaning etc
* Picking and packing
* Prepping Veg, preparing salads
* Serving on the counter at the restaurant
* Working on the Barista area at costa Coffee station
* You will be standing for the whole of your shift, there is bending, stretching, lifting, and pulling of food trollies to the wards
The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
* Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
* GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English or equivalent qualification
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate required
* Excellent customer service
* Catering: 1 year (Desirable)
