The vacancy

We are looking for a 2 individuals to join our expanding in house catering team at the Doncaster College. The role will undertake all aspects of the catering industry including basic food preparation, customer service, cash handling, barista work & general cleaning duties. Previous experience within the industry preferred, but not essential as full on site training will be given. We operate predominantly Monday through to Friday. Although we operate within a college setting our trading weeks do expand to cover 50 weeks of the year. The successful candidate will need to pass a food hygiene and a food safety certificate & undergo a DBS check.

These positions are 25 hours per week, 36 weeks per year. Specific hours to be advised at interview, could be between the hours of 7am – 5pm to meet the needs of the business.

Lets Teach Programme
Let’s Teach The LET’s teach programme supports new members of teaching staff in terms of college systems and key teaching and learning areas including new staff lesson visits and postcard peeps. Each new member of staff has an allocated Lead Practitioner who works closely with them throughout the programme.

The LET’s Bloom Programme aims to connect our experienced and qualified teachers to share best practice and support continued risk-taking as we continue to add depth to our teaching craft. Teachers volunteer on this one year programme, working closely with the Learning Enhancement Team, capturing their experimentation in a journal
