Catering Assistant

Salary : £10.42 – £19.07/hour
Meridian Health are currently looking for Catering Staff to work in one our NHS hospital sites in Mid and South Essex for immediate start.
These will be temporary ongoing roles with hourly rates starting at £10.42 per hour with enhanced rates for Saturdays, Sundays, Nights and Bank Holidays up to £19.07.
Shifts are available Monday to Sunday between the hours 7AM to 8PM with the following shift patterns:
07:00 – 20:00
15:00 – 20:00
16:00 – 20:00
Full-time and part-time needs can be accommodated for.
This role requires you to cater for patients across the hospital, assist in basic meal prep and keep kitchen areas clean
Main Duties Include:
Taking food orders and serving meals to patients on wards
Serving in canteen areas
Kitchen cleaning and dish washing
Assisting in kitchens and canteens when required and asked by managers
Paid inductions occur on set dates each month. These inductions go on over two weeks.
