Must be able to work 4 hours between 8am – 2pm IE 9am-1pm, 10am-2pm – flexibility available
Salary: £9.70 – weekly pay – rising to £10.60 in April
Foxes Recruitment are recruiting for Catering Assistants to work within a supported housing facility for the elderly based in Melton Mowbray.
We are looking for a Catering / Food / Kitchen Assistant to be responsible for:
* Delivering a quality catering service in line with health, safety and hygiene requirements.
* Preparing of meals
* Minimising wastage when preparing meals and using equipment correctly.
* Ensuring that all work surfaces are clean at times
Ideal knowledge & experience:
* Previous catering experience with knowledge of basic food safety and safe use of knives & kitchen equipment
* Experience of working with older people
Required
* Food safety hygiene certificate – essential
Reporting to the Head Chef you will be responsible for sticking to the recipe and plan.
