We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Manager with apassion for food and creative flair using fresh ingredients, that strives to deliver customer satisfaction. You will be an integral part of the team to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen, manage staff and all areas are well maintained.

As a Catering Manager, your responsibilities will be to: 

Manage the catering team and provision of food operations including preparation, cooking, and serving of meals, portion control, menu planning/amendments (where appropriate) and special diets, allergens, and intolerances for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner service. 

Manage food, labour costs, and maintain accurate records as required i.e., stock control, food orders, quality assurance checks, and sickness management, taking appropriate action to achieve and maintain targets, under the guidance of the Guest experience manager.

Adhere to existing IT working practices and procedures, undertake relevant training and development activities and respond to recommendations for new and alternative systems of work.

To follow safe systems of work, maintain appropriate levels of hygiene and safeguarding in accordance with the Company's policies, The Code of Practice and Food Safety Legislation to maintain a safe environment.

Manage, train and develop staff identifying strengths and weaknesses, carry out appraisal/performance management, workload allocation, rotas, payroll admin and supervision of staff. 

Carry out quality checks, risk assessments and other management activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Work to budgets and financial targets

Undertake and/or contribute to accident/incident reporting, investigations and implement any outcomes, as appropriate.

Actively market the service to promote and maintain good relationships with all customers. 

We would love to see your CV if you have any of the following skills and experience:

NVQ Level 2 in Food preparation/cooking or Previous experience in a similar role working with the relevant service areas
Minimum of 3 GCSE passes (including English & Maths)
An up to date Food Safety Level 2 or 3 Certificate
A clear understanding of COSHH and HACCP
The ability to maintain high standards of Health & Safety
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships 
Be an enthusiastic worker with the ability to organise and prioritise tasks without close supervision
A flexible approach to work with the ability to work under pressure and deal with competing demands and deadlines
A Current DBS certificate due to the working environment would be desirable although can be provided
This is a permanent full-time position, working 37 hours a week annualised over 39 weeks.Based in Anglesey in a lovely rural setting over the Straits, you will receive a base Salary of £25,000 plus company benefits.
