Catering Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £30000/annum
Our client is a highly successful contract food services company who have a role available within their customer based in Newcastle.
The Catering Manager Role
Main responsibilities will include:
Order all provisions in line with company ordering policy
Ensure that all food service areas are kept clean and well maintained. Reporting any defaults to our client and helpdesk ensuring completion of outstanding issues
To ensure completion of all paperwork, temperatures, electrical checks, COSHH, HACCAP etc.
To pass all internal and external audits such as health and safety, franchise partners and profit protection
Manage the team to achieve the desired results driving forward service excellence and delivering quality.
Train all members of the team using training materials and ensure all employees are inducted correctly into the business
Ensure the weekly rotas are complete in the correct time frame and labour is managed within budget agreements
Complete daily and monthly billing
Complete daily cashing up in accordance with trading procedures
Close accounts at agreed times
Ensure HR issues are dealt with according to company standard
Manage the pop-up event operation

Track record of developing and leading a team
Good written and verbal communication
Proficient with Microsoft office suite
