Catering Manager
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £14.79/hour
Integra People are currently recruting fro a Catering Manager for our busy client based in Tamworth.
Monday – Friday on the day shift although there will be the occasional requirement to work nights which operates Sunday – Thursday
9:00am start time with flexibility where required, particularly the first few months whilst we get the canteen back up and running
The role:
* To provide cover for night shift staff when nights chef is on leave.
* Responsible for day to day management of the kitchen operation to include food safety, health and safety and food processing.
* Heading up a small team of 3 including a nights chef.
* Provide costing for a varied menu and work within constraints of a budget.
* Reporting costings to site management team on a monthly basis.
* Ability to work alongside warehouse and stock team to use any surplus supplies of food from the warehouse.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience of working in a food service environment is essential.
* Good people’s skills to ensure that the team provide a professional and excellent service to the working depot.
* Positive can do attitude.
* Must have a level 3 in Food Safety Supervision for catering or happy complete and pass the level 3 course (within 6 months of starting the role)
