Catering Manager
We are looking for a motivated Catering Manager to join our friendly clients team based at a primary school in Shrewsbury. Responsible for all associated duties including stock management, health and safety and team motivation.
Key Responsibilities not limited to
Lead, motivate and manage the catering team.
Accountable for recruiting, training, and supporting staff to deliver high-quality service.
Accountable for ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence.
Stock and budget management: ordering and controlling food stocks within budget.
Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies, and duty of care to customers and colleagues.
Ideal Candidate
Will have a transferrable
Proven experience of successfully managing a team within a catering environment.
A keen interest in customer service excellence.
A strong team player and leader.
Self-motivated, able to work well unsupervised whilst also supervising a team.
Proactive with a ‘can do' attitude.
Contract Catering experience within education.
Hours Mon- Fri 08:00 – 14:00. Term time only.
Pay £12p/h
Immediate start. SY3 area.
