Catering Manager
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum
Smart Solutions have an excellent opportunity to develop your catering management career within a growing business as a Education Sector Catering Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering services for schools and educational institutions, food production, kitchen operations, and customer service within the Oxford area. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing healthy and nutritious meals to students with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the education sector.
Core Duties of the Catering Manager:

Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of daily catering operations and designated services.
*
Deliver the highest possible standard of food with the resources available and to budget.
*
Overall responsibility for health & safety standards within the catering services.
*
Dealing with HR matters such as onboarding, appraisals, disciplinaries etc.
Key Skills Required of the Catering Manager:
*
Proven track record of driving revenue growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the education sector.
*
Proven experience within a high-volume catering environment.
*
Knowledge of the School Food Standards and other relevant regulations and guidelines related to education catering.
*
Strong financial acumen, demonstrable budgetary control and results orientated.
*
Experienced leader with excellent people skills and positive attitude.
*
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and catering management software
