Chef Manager – Secondary Education (Term time only) – Ross on Wye – 37.5 hours per week – £21,303 per annum

My client is an independent contract catering company with a fresh approach to catering within the Education sector.

An opportunity has arisen for a talented and enthusiastic Chef Manager to manage a catering contract within a school in Ross on Wye. You will be responsible for providing approximately 1000 children healthy and delicious meals using locally sourced, fresh ingredients.

As Chef Manager you will be a motivated individual who can plan, organise and deliver an exceptional service.  You will have the proven ability to drive sales and get the best out of your team. You will have a strong front of house presence, manage the busy high end hospitality offering aswell as regular functions. You will also encourage pupil engagement and build a strong and successful relationship with the client.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of successfully managing a catering operation within a busy school/college/university. You will have an impressive cheffing background aswell as effective management skills. You will be up to date with current food trends and be able to produce food to a very high standard.

This is a Monday to Friday position, term time only – £21,303 per annum.
