We are currently recruiting for an experienced Supervisor to work in our clients Catering department within the educational sector. This is a full time role working a 40 hours week, hours will vary depending on events occurring, rotas will be planned in advance.
The main purpose of the Catering Supervisor is to supervise hospitality events including formal dinners, drinks, canapé events, parents days and opening days.
Responsibilities;
·Prepare College Hall for breakfast, lunch and supper
·Managing the Catering Assistants and casual waiting staff
·Ensure all aspects of Food Health and Safety is adhered too
·Transport equipment to events
·Assist with the cleaning
·Ensure all deliveries are checked in and stored correctly
·Supporting the Functions Manager with stock management
Experience;
·Experience of working in a supervisory role, ideally within the catering industry
·The ability to manage a team
·Excellent organisational skills
·Excellent customer service skills
