Major Recruitment are pleased to be working with a leading international automotive business with a large Factory in Baildon, Shipley. The business are seeking an experiences Catering Supervisor to join the team.

As a Catering Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our operation and we are looking for an individual who share our energy and passion about food. This is a hands-on, operational kitchen role, all about leading and supporting a team, using high quality produce to prepare and deliver good quality, hearty meals for our Associates here on site.

As a Catering Supervisor, your responsibilities will be:

* Managing a small team of Catering Assistants in providing a good quality service and product to a wide range of Associates including both office and manufacturing staff

* To be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, contractors and colleagues

* Demonstrating a can-do attitude towards individual customer requests and strive to exceed customer expectations

* Accepting payment and give change to customers, including operating a till

* Actively gaining customer feedback, passing information gained to make sure you are aware of, and meet the legal and Company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene

* Promoting good hygiene safety habits and methods of work

* Serving customers with hot and cold food and beverages on a counter during service times

* Ensuring all displays, counters and seating areas comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements

The ideal candidate:

* Previous experience supervising frontline teams within a similar environment

* Good communication skills in order to be able to liaise with a wide range of team members and customers within your work environment

* Ability to comply with legislation and following all rules and regulation laid down in the staff handbook and unit policy statements, with regard to uniform, personal hygiene, health and safety

* Customer service focused

* Team player and can-do attitude

* Takes pride in personal appearance and hygiene

* Self motivated and able to use own initiative

* Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a positive attitude

* Experienced in managing budgets, GP, stock control and a small team

Shifts:

7am – 12pm Monday / Wednesday

7am – 1.30pm Tuesday / Thursday

7am – 11am Friday

28 hours per week

Some flexibility around start / finish times may be required during busy times / holidays.

Pay:

£12.50 per hour
