An experienced chef with at least 2 years of experience is needed to join the team at El Perro Negro based in Edinburgh and Glasgow on a preferably full-time basis, but a part-time basis will also be considered.
We are known as an award-winning burger joint, having grown from a pop-up outfit to a multi-site operator. To join the team, you don’t necessarily need to have worked in a kitchen, although prior experience in hospitality would be ideal. Training will be provided for this role.
We’re looking for a chef for each of our locations – one in Edinburgh, one in Glasgow (G3 6LF).
The salary range is £24,500 – £26,500 per annum pro rata depending on the number of hours worked (£11-£12 per hour).

Required Skills:
* An interest in food and restaurants would be ideal
* Capacity for hard work
* Desire to learn the fundamental skills required to work as a hospitality professional
* Food safety and hygiene
* Cleanliness and organisation
* Product storage, rotation, and preparation (mise en place)
* If you don’t have it already, you will be expected to acquire a level 2 certificate in Food Safety & Hygiene
