Are you a passionate chef with a commitment to delivering high-quality, wholesome meals? We’re seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef to join our team at Nursing Home, Wooburn Green, High Wycombe. This is an opportunity to make a real difference by providing residents with nutritious, home-cooked meals tailored to their dietary needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities

Run the kitchen while maintaining high standards of food preparation, cleanliness, and organization.
Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of nutritious and delicious meals, considering residents' individual dietary needs and preferences.
Develop seasonal menus that offer variety, balance, and appeal to residents.
Adapt dishes for special diets, including allergies, dysphagia-friendly options, and modified textures.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Efficiently manage stock levels and supplies, reducing waste and maintaining quality.
Collaborate with the care team to enhance the overall dining experience for residents.

Requirements

Proven experience as a chef, ideally in a care home, school, hospital, or similar setting.
Strong understanding of dietary requirements, including allergies and modified diets.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a healthcare setting.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage kitchen operations independently.
A passion for providing high-quality, wholesome meals with compassion and respect for residents.
