Are you a dedicated and motivated Chef, living in or around the Ashford (Kent) area?
Bright Side Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be assisting a popular hotel in their search for a Chef. The role is being offered on a full time, permanent basis and has the added benefit of accommodation (If required).
The successful applicant should possess at least 2 years’ relevant Cheffing experience and be accustomed to working with precision, within a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Aided by knowledgeable, and experienced Senior Chefs, this is the ideal role for the right person who has the passion, self-motivation and drive to be coached, learn more and develop their existing skills.
The hotel offers Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a room service function – so there are NO split shifts!!
As you would expect, the typical duties are:
* Aid the Head Chef and other Chefs to help ensure the smooth running of the food service operations
* Create high-quality food and meet guest expectations and maintain company standards
* Assist in the running of a designated section in the kitchen
* Ensure consistency of all produce is in line with chef's specification and standards
* Assist in each department – Restaurant, Conferences, Banquets, and other functions
* Assist in daily food prep and service
* Participate in guest activities that promote the hotel product and its services
