Are you an experienced Chef who has previously worked in a school canteen, nursing home a canteen or a similar establishment? Are you looking for a role to start ASAP? We might have something just for you!
Our client is looking for an experienced Chef to head their staff kitchen.
You will be responsible for service circa 30 covers a day, starting from breakfast and finishing on lunch. All food is made from scratch and nutritionally well balanced.
Together with the nutritionist you will be responsible for preparing weekly menu.
You will be a confident cook/chef with good understanding and ability to control tight budgets.
The kitchen is opened 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm with occasional longer times during weekends.
There is a flexibility as to the amount of days of work required and a possibility of a job share for interested candidates.
Ideal candidates will have experience in a similar role, be confident to work independently, hold an NVQ level II and valid Food Hygiene certificate, along with knowledge of allergies and special diets.
Additionally, successful candidates will be happy to undergo a DBS check that will be organised and paid for by the client
