A genuine work / life balance, regular working hours and no late nights. Full creative freedom. Our chef will be a key member of the senior team. Brand new kitchen facilities. Open Monday to Friday, serving breakfast, lunch (modern street-foods, paella, chilli, jambalaya, BBQ……) and snacks. Ad-hoc in-house event catering (canapes and other options) – otherwise the kitchen will be closed by mid-afternoon. Meet and interact with your customers. About You: (as we grow, so will the team)
Talented innovative chef with creative flair for producing new and exciting street food recipes and menu options
Responsible for supplier selection (preference given to local and sustainable suppliers)
Experienced in food preparation, cooking and serving
Passionate and knowledgeable about food; engaging as front of house
Comfortable coming up with ideas and menus, ensuring the business is a ‘destination’ attracting more members, guests and passing trade
Responsible for relevant safety, hygiene, quality and customer satisfaction
Operate as an integral part of the senior team and alongside our Barista and Hosts
Great customer service skills
About Us:
Open Monday to Friday, from 7.30am, we serve breakfast, lunch and snacks, so the majority of the time, our kitchen will close in the afternoon. We provide further options for evening networking events, and occasionally taking part in local wider community activities (Farmer’s Market and Christmas Light Switch On etc), where, as a key marketing activity, we can ensure we are represented and recognised as an exciting destination in the Town Centre.
Our business lounge caters for the needs of the part-time commuter and businesses that have adopted home-working, but still need a social / workspace to get the team together from time to time. With a kitchen and dining space, our food offerings include breakfast, eat in or take out lunches, snacks and light refreshments, and beverages including awesome coffee. On site we have state-of-the-art Video Meeting facilities, dedicated hot-desks, flexible coworking space, breakout areas with soft seating and private meeting rooms as well as an amazing (huge) event space.
Salary and Benefits:
Full time and permanent role, paying up to £30,000 pa (dependent upon experience); 28 days leave; pension; flexible benefits (parking, gym, health insurance, retail vouchers……)
