RESIDENTIAL DEMENTIA CARE HOME
40 HOURS PER WEEK
SHIFTS 8 AM – 6 PM
Exciting opportunity for a full- time experienced Chef to work in beautiful Residential Dementia Care Home based in Christchurch, Dorset.
This is fantastic, rewarding role where you can come in and take pride in ensuring tasty and enjoyable meals are delivered to an elderly resident.
KEY DUTIES FOR CHEF INCLUDE:
Preparing and cooking nutritious and varied homemade meals, cooked to a high standard
Supervising and supporting all kitchen staff
Menu planning
Ensuring the kitchen is always cleaned to Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards
Ordering food supplies when required and checking stock
Working to ensure the catering budget is met at all time
ABOUT YOU:
Previous experience in a Care Home or Hospital or in a Restaurant is useful
Qualified in Food Production or Equivalent is required
Experience of staff management
Good understanding of Health and Safety and Food Hygiene standards
Experience of delivering homemade quality food in high volume
