Salary : £12.50 – £25/hour

We have some amazing opportunities with a well-known high-street restaurant chain that also has a restaurant based at East Midlands Airport (DE74 2SA).

Due to the shift times, it is essential you either have your own transport. Free parking available.

These positions are immediate starts.

In return for this Chef role, we offer:

• £12.00 p/h – £12.50 p/h.
• £24.00 p/h – £25.00 p/h on Bank Holidays.
• Guarantee of a minimum of 40 – 50 hours per week.
• Two shifts 0330 hrs – 1100 hrs or 1100 hrs – 2030 hrs covering a 7-day rota.

As a Chef your duties will be:

• Preparing food ranging from light snacks and refreshments to English breakfast & pub-style continental meals.
• Assisting in the smooth running of the kitchen.
• Maintaining quality hygiene standards within the production areas at all times.
• Ensuring that the kitchen is running effectively, and meals are prepared on time and to the highest standards.
• Working in a fast-paced kitchen and working to set meal and portion plans.

To be considered for the role of a Chef:
• You must have gained experience as a chef within either a hotel, high street restaurant, pub, banqueting, contract catering or similar catering environment.
• You must have experience in cooking fresh food in a medium to high-volume kitchen environment.
• Be able to commute easily and reside within travelling distance of East Midlands Airport.
• You will be required to provide a five-year checkable history and a criminal record check as part of the interview process
