Winchester College is cooking up a treat for all Chefs commencing employment during November!
We are offering a signing bonus of £250.00 throughout the month of NOVEMBER 2021 and an additional £250.00 after 12 months (all subject to T&C's).
If you have a flair for cooking nutritious meals from scratch using fresh seasonable vegetable and produce then we would love to hear from you.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at one of the oldest and prestigious schools in the country. Chefs have a valued role within the college, providing daily meals in term-time for up to 70 boys.
We are looking for someone who may have worked as a Head Chef, Chef or Cook in a school, college pub, restaurant, care home, or similar setting providing wholesome and healthy home style cooking. You will also be preparing and cooking meals for pupils with dietary needs and allergies.
The salary for this position is £11.13 per hour, working Term Time only. We have vacancies for both 30 and 40 hours per week positions. Hours can be discussed at interview.
You will need: –
· To be qualified to at least NVQ Level 2 in Food Production (or equivalent)
· Have a good understanding of health and safety and other current relevant legislation
· Experience of delivering exceptional quality food in high volume
