Hours: earliest start 6.15am, latest finish 7pm. straight shifts (see below for further details)
Days: one person Thursday – Monday, one person Monday – Friday.
Duration: immediate start, minimum of one month, possibly longer.
Duties:
Reporting to the Catering Service Manager, working within a team, overseeing Catering Assistants and KPs.
Catering in an industrial environment, catering for around 8000 meal per week on a nutritious menu, working to recipes, including specialist dietary requirements.
Stock control and rotation, labelling and maintaining records.
Maintaining equipment and reporting defects.
Adherence to hygiene and health & safety standards.
Experience:
Must have previous catering experience, preferably in a high-volume environment, previous experience of specialist dietary requirements is an advantage.
Must have relevant catering qualifications to Level 2 or equivalent, plus a valid level 2 food safety certificate.
Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods, due to the nature of tasks.
Must be able to work well as part of a team, to schedules.
