The successful candidate will be working initially on a long-term, on-going basis via our agency with the prospect of ultimately taking up permanent employment with the NHS.
Enhanced pay in-line with the NHS permanent staff is paid, £12.99ph for Saturdays and £16.85ph for Sundays and Bank Holidays.
We are looking for a skilled Chef to join an established, award winning team in their impressive, modern facility at one of the hospitals in Wakefield. In the current climate this is a fabulous opportunity to be a part of a healthcare team supporting front line services.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience of large scale volume cooking.
Be able to work within a team
Be able to follow H&S procedures and stick to recipes.
Be able to work in a fast paced and often pressurised environment to meet deadlines.
Core hours of work will be 37.5 per week, 5 over 7 various shifts, 6.00am the earliest start time, 19.00pm the latest finish time.
Qualifications required:
City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or level 2 diploma in Professional Cookery (or equivalent).
