Predominately evening work – up to six nights a week. Role to be shaped for the right candidate
I am currently recruiting for a chef to undertake all kitchen related responsibilities for my client, which is a prestigious sports club in central Cambridge. My client is looking for an energetic individual who is looking for something different in their career. This role could be ideal for you if you are a young inspiring individual who would like to run your own kitchen for the first time, or somebody who has experience in kitchen management. My client is very excited about offering this role and is very flexible regarding the future of the role.

Details about the role and key responsibilities:
Predominantly evening working (the current plan is for the kitchen to open from 6-9pm, six nights a week)
Opportunity to grow the role (e.g., the Club has a range of lunches and more formal dinner events in the clubhouse restaurant)
Responsible for cleaning and hygiene of the kitchen
As needed – and if the candidate is willing – there could be additional tasks to help the running of the clubhouse / bar
What we are looking for:
A grill chef, responsible for cooking a range of bar food
Someone who is comfortable working independently / as part of a small team
Someone with a positive, “can-do” attitude (bringing in new ideas / fresh thinking would be welcomed)
