Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10 – £12/hour
Simple Recruitment Services are looking for an experienced chef to cover a couple of shifts for one of our clients based in Lenton, Nottingham.
Our client is looking for people to work the following dates:
* Thursday (phone number removed)am-4pm
* Friday (phone number removed)am-4pm
* Saturday (phone number removed)am-4pm
* Sunday (phone number removed)am-4pm
Key Responsibilities
* Assure adherence to all standards of food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation in conjunction with our clients specifications , and delivered within the correct time constraints.
* Employs food safety best practices at all times while working in the kitchen.
* To Prepare, cook and serve exceptional food as required by Games Workshop’s kitchen, ensuring the food is ready to be served at the correct times.
* To participate in the Hazard Analysis and critical control point(HACCP) procedure according to the company’s Food Safety Management document
* Always works in a methodical organised manner.
* To order all food and food related products using company guidance.
* Ensure delivery of stock is to the required standard following the receiving deliveries guidance.
* Use your own initiative to meet the department's plans and priorities.
* Behave appropriately in line with our clients cultures and ethics
What do we require :
* Previous experience of cooking and food preparation in a high volume
* The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
* Organisation and time management skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing environment, whilst maintaining a high level of detail
* Experience working with fresh ingredients, following kitchen spec’s.
* Food hygiene level 2 ( preferably )
