About The Role

Hours: 31.5 hours per week
Salary: £10.80 per hour 
Location: Bangeston Hall Pembroke Dock. 
Are you a supportive and empathetic individual who wants to enhance the lives of adults with Autism? We have an opportunity in our unique adult's residential home based in the stunning,  location of Pembroke Dock. We are currently recruiting for a full time chef to join our catering team. The role will require you to prepare meals for the adults diagnosed with autism and staff whilst ensuring that high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained.
 
9am – 6pm. Two Week Rolling Rota. Week 1 – Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun. Week 2 – Wed, Thurs, Fri
 
Qualifications, Training and Experience: 

Catering Diploma (City & Guilds/BTEC)
Level 3 Food Hygiene 
Significant experience with line management responsibilities 
Ideally you'll have experience in a care home setting, although desirable this is not essentialMain responsibilities will include:

To ensure the smooth running of the kitchen
To store, prepare and serve food and beverage items in Accordance with all Food Handling and Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
Daily cleaning of all areas of the kitchen in accordance with the Units schedules and specifications, using appropriate equipment, chemicals and work methods
To ensure Documentation duties and procedures are maintained for efficiency and accuracy i.e. temperature of food and equipment
Ensure all equipment is maintained and cleaned in the appropriate manner. Report any maintenance problems to the Managers as soon as any problems occur, keeping an accurate record.Benefits:
