Chef – Cafe
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £11 – £13/hour
Cafe Chai is a Surrey-based busy, independent cafe on a vibrant high street. We are currently looking for an experienced Chef to join our award-winning team.
Our cafe offers specialty coffee and tea, artisan cakes and a delicious brunch menu. Additionally, we host regular supper clubs, charcuterie evenings and the occasional live music event.
As a Chef with us, you will be responsible for producing quality dishes for our customers to enjoy, as well as maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the food preparation areas. We are looking for someone who is passionate about food and would love to join a friendly team.
We have lots of exciting plans for the coming months so our ideal candidate is someone who will bring some fresh ideas to Chai to help develop our future menu.
Key requirements:
* Previous food preparation experience
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members
* Passionate about delivering the very best food, time and time again
* Able to work at pace and multi task where necessary
* Able to adhere to company standards and follow legal guidelines for Food Hygiene and Health & Safety
