Chef Contract in Lapland
Job Type : Contract, Full Time
Salary : £9.50 – £12/hour paid in Euros monthly
Chef opportunity in Lapland this Christmas season. Starting November 2022 to March 2023, working in a busy hotel kitchen as part of an award-winning brigade. As chef you will cook as part of team for up to 1500 guests per day. You will work 40 hours per week at the most and have the opportunity to experience Lapland.
Whether you are a Commi, Chef de Partie, (CDP), Sous Chef or indeed have worked in high volume catering as a Cook, we want to hear from you.
Sayjo Recruitment have recruited on behalf of this client for many seasons now and will support you with all the details, flight information, accommodation, interviews and contract of employment direct with the hotel.
The food is basic, wholesome, traditional and comfort food, so you will need to be happy to prepare from a limited menu due to remote location. You must have kitchen catering experience either as a chef or cook. We are not looking to recruit kitchen porters at this stage.
Working visas are only available to EU Passport holders since Brexit, we cannot arrange employment without an EU Passport. You must have at least 12 months on your passport to be able to travel and complete the contract.
Accommodation, food, beverages (non-alcoholic) are provided throughout the contract, flights and transfers are arranged on your behalf and all flights are from the UK main airports. Outdoor protective clothing is also provided along with chef whites.
This is a role paid in Euros, income tax is paid in Lapland, accommodation and food is part of the taxable benefit and is deductible. Salaries are paid monthly.
