Nursery Chef

An exciting position has become available for a part-time Nursery Chef/Cook based in Wetherby (approximately 25, Leeds, Harrogate and York centre). The successful candidate will work between 7:30am- 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. This can be negotiable.

The successful candidate will earn a competitive salary based on their experience.

Role Requirements

Ideally, you will be qualified in Food Preparation/Hygiene or in childcare with the commitment to train in Food Hygiene.
You must be committed to protect children from harm through following safeguarding procedures and ongoing professional development.
Team work is highly valued as is 'treating each other as you would want to be treated'.

Role Responsibilities

Producing nutritionally balanced meals and snacks.
Ensure ingredients in foods meet individual allergy and dietary requirements of all children.
Contribute to and participate in team meetings/team activity.
Cleaning kitchen to meet HSE requirements.
Developing menus as part of a small team in line with school food standards.
Maintaining accurate and effective records in line with Safe Food Better Business.
Have a working knowledge of HACCP and COSHH regulations and guidelines (training will be given).
Stock control and ordering.
