A long-established Coffee Lounge based in the heart of the Marina at The Waterfront, Sovereign Harbour.
An interesting position if you have a passion for traditional food and good service and have good commercial awareness in a busy, seasonal, weather lead, 7 day a week operation.
We are looking for hardworking, organised, and self-motivated individuals to join the team, and be prepared to put their hand to most tasks and be proactively involved in the day-to-day running of the operation.
This Kitchen postition is responsible for hot & cold meal preparation. Short orders dishes including, breakfasts, jackets, omelettes, soups etc.
As well as preparation of our daily homemade sandwich fillings and other ingredients. All general Kitchen responsibilities as well as some counter & barista duties. Stock ordering, storage, rotation, prepare & delivery. Cleaning, training, and premise management.
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamworking skills will be essential. Also an appreciation of customer experience, expectations, and commercial demands in a customer-facing environment. Offer a well-organized approach to work and flexibility and the ability to overcome problems. Drive and determination and a consistency in striving to improve service delivery. Ensure health and safety regulations are strictly observed along with compliance of all fire and employment regulations.
On site, On the job training is given. Meals on duty are provided. Paid weekly. Immediate start available
