Chef De Partie
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £23000 – £25000/annum plus service charge
Stark Recruitment has teamed up with a fantastic 4 star hotel that has an excellent opportunity for Chef de Partie to join a small brigade of chefs who produce quality foods for their restaurant, bar, room service, and even rooms. This is an excellent opportunity to join chefs who like to satisfy guests appetites by producing quality fresh food.
The role as a Chef de Partie:
• Presenting quality dishes using only fresh foods while producing within a professional kitchen.
• Training and coaching junior members of staff
• Working on all sections when needed and maintaining a good standard of service.
• Assisting in controlling department expenses from food costs to wages.
• Safeguarding the hygiene, health & safety procedures.
• Working as part of a busy team and motivating the team.
What we need from a Chef de Partie:
• Minimum of Level 2 NVQ in food prep qualification or equivalent
• Previous experience of working in a similar professional kitchen with fresh produce.
• A passion for cooking and a love of food and an ambition to learn and develop your skills.
• Experience in working with strict health & safety and hygiene practices and an understanding of health & safety legislation.
• Imagination, an eye for detail and a desire & ability to deliver quality fresh a la carte and buffet food with experience of large volume functions and weddings
