Salary : £14/hour

We are looking for appoint a Chef de Partie at our client based in Lambeth.

This will be a Temp to Perm role after 12 weeks.
Your main duties and responsibilities

* To produce meals as per specifications in the standard recipes, maintaining standards and informing the Head Chef whenever deviations from the set standards may occur.

* To work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth running of the CPU and Lambeth Restaurant whilst maintaining good working relationships with Chefs, Kitchen porters, Catering Assistants and Store Keepers.

* To ensure all aspects of the Health and Safety at Work Act are complied with.

* To ensure high standards of food quality and presentation are consistently maintained, in line with the standard recipes to enable accurate allergen information to be communicated on request.

* To ensure that set portion controls are monitored and maintained as per the dietitians specifications.

* To ensure that cleaning of all areas responsible for, is carried out to a high standard.

* Promoting good customer relations with all members of staff, visitors and other stake holders.

* With the assistance of the Head Chef, to undertake staff training as outlined by the ISS Compliance and training manager.

* To participate in the induction and training of staff in accordance with all ISS policies including its diversity policies.

* To transfer to other catering sites when necessary.

* To carryout any other duties, required by management as appropriate to the grade to facilitate the efficient running of the kitchen and associated areas.

* To ensure compliance with food safety regulations, assisting with the revision of HACCP if necessary. To collate and store all due diligence records as required by the ISS Food Safety Team, ensuring accuracy of documents and taking action as appropriate.
