We are seeking two Chef De Partie's, to report to the Head Chef.
We are seeking two enthusiastic Chef De Partie to assist the Senior Chefs in the smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen to ensure that the school’s reputation for food quality is always maintained.
Working hours are 40 per week, organised in split shifts, 5 days out of 7, which will include some weekend and evening work. Some flexibility on hours to be worked will be required to meet the needs of the business.
As the Chef De Partie, you will become a valued team player within our small and friendly team, you will take responsibility for the production, presentation and service of food for our guests, clients and staff to the highest of standards.
On average the kitchen produces (Apply online only) covers per day, using the freshest ingredients from local suppliers. This is a great opportunity to develop your culinary career with an experienced and passionate team around you.
As the Chef De Partie, you will be expected and encouraged to be creative, helping to develop dishes and menus and bringing your own ideas to the table. Following the seasons and buying locally we regularly change menus for lunches, dinners and buffets, helping us to work towards our sustainability goals.
We are looking for you to hold an NVQ Level 2 & 3 in professional Cookery or equivalent and a Food Hygiene Certificate.
You will also have previous catering experience within a high-quality establishment, and the ability to work in a busy environment, meeting strict deadlines and working collaboratively.
