Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the culinary team to support all aspects of the Hospitality & Café operations.
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of a wide range of meals, adhering to quality standards and health and safety guidelines.
* Take ownership of a specific section within the kitchen, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to high standards.
* Contribute to menu planning, incorporating seasonal and dietary requirements while maintaining variety and innovation.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area, including food preparation stations, equipment, and utensils.
* Help manage inventory, conduct stock checks, and assist with ordering supplies.
* Provide prompt and courteous service, addressing guest needs and requests efficiently.
* Collaborate with the team to continuously improve the dining experience.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques.
* Attention to detail, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations within a kitchen environment.
* Flexibility to work additional hours as required.
