The Opportunity:
The menu in this venue changes with the seasons and uses the best locally sourced fresh produce, serving vibrant dishes, paired with exceptional wines.
As a Chef De Partie you will be required to have the skill to run your own section while working alongside others in your team. Daily duties will involve preparing your section for the day, cooking food fresh to order, assisting other members of the team where necessary, and the closing down and cleaning of the kitchen at the end of the day.
The successful candidate will have:
* previous experience of working within a kitchen that uses fresh ingredients
* commitment to working as part of a team but have good initiative to work independently
* ability to work in a very fast paced environment
* good communication skills
* have good knowledge of safe working practises and requirements of COSHH, Food Hygiene and Health and Safety
* good knowledge of allergens and ingredients
* excellent time keeping skills and be well presented
