Recently listed in the Michelin Guide, our client based in harpenden is looking for a Chef De Partie to join their team!
Our client’s aim is to create a special experience for customers that pulls on the traditions of a classic British Public House whilst putting a contemporary twist on quality seasonal food and drink. In the last 18 months they have made a huge investment in refurbishments, staff, suppliers and equipment.
They operate a 4 Day working week, with straight shifts. There are live in opportunities available.

Requirements:

They are looking for a passionate, driven Chef de Partie who is willing to learn and grow within their kitchen team.
Duties:
– Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes, along with the general running of a section within the kitchen.
– Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
– Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus.
– Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety.
– Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
– Maintaining all health & safety requirements and upholding a high level of cleanliness.
