Our client, a friendly family feel care home in Dorking are looking for an expereinced Kitchen Manager to lead their catering operation.
COOK / KITCHEN MANAGER (FULL-TIME)
An exciting opportunity to develop the catering service and create your own menus. No late-night working. 40hours a week working in a friendly, 44-bedded care home near the centre of Dorking. Shifts are on a two-week rota covering a mix of shifts (7.30am-3pm and 11.30am-7.30pm).
Salary negotiable at interview (up to £37,000 pa)
Every Day Responsibilities
* Plan and cook nutritionally balanced menu of food options for our elderly residents
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness/tidiness
* Ensure safe environment for other staff
* Observe all relevant health and safety practices, and record
* Report and maintain adequate stock levels
Based near to Dorking town centre, the role ensures that high standards of food are provided for residents and that the kitchen is kept clean and free from hazards. The Chef Manager will act at all times in a manner which will promote the interests of the Society, it’s staff and residents.
Responsible to the Registered Manager.
