Shifts: Thursday to Sunday, 10:00-14:00

Location: Beechwood Court, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 7RL

About the role

We’re searching for a Relief Chef Manager to join our friendly and hard-working team at A2Dominion.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Support Team within our Retirement Living Schemes to provide a comprehensive catering service, leading the service at weekends within budget to ensure the delivery of high-quality meals to clients living in sheltered accommodation and/or the wider community.

Key responsibilities:

· Preparation, cooking and serving of meals, taking responsibility for particular dietary and cultural needs, cooking specific meals as per the resident food profile so that resident’s preferences are met.

· Producing all administrative documentation recording meals sold and reporting resident feedback to Catering manager.

· Recruiting, training, managing and supervising staff

· Agreeing and managing budgets

· Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation/guidelines including the Registered Homes Act 1984 overseeing stock levels, ordering supplies

· Handling customer enquiries and complaints responding to arrears and credit control with resident invoicing

· Take Responsibility for ordering, stock control, deliveries, agency workers time keeping and maintain the standards set by the Catering Manager.

You won’t necessarily have experience in this sector, as we recognise that transferrable skills and experience are just as valuable. We are specifically looking for candidates with the right skills and attitudes, who will demonstrate and promote our values of caring by nature, working better together and thinking for tomorrow.

· C&G 706/1 & 706/2 , Chef diploma or NVQ Level 4 Cooking qualification (essential), preferably in a Care and Support environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· IT Literate

· Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle
