I am currently looking for a Chef Trainer for a fantastic restaurant brand in London. My client is looking for someone who is able to help design and deliver effective training and development to develop people and teams who deliver exceptional customer experiences through delivering exceptional food to ultimately improve business performance.
You should be experienced in delivering training on site as well as in the classroom and online and have a real passion for food!
Responsibilities:
Provide input into strategic department projects. You will effectively represent the opinions of your peer group when involved with key business projects and initiatives
You will ‘model the way’ with regards to championing key projects and ensuring that they land effectively in restaurants
Influencing and building strategic relationships at all levels of the business
Design, develop and implement all training materials
Design and deliver key training courses for restaurant-based teams
Deliver management development courses to Kitchen team leader and above
Manage and develop relationships with learning providers and suppliers
Responsible for the creation of on-line training materials and e-learning system
Develop and deliver apprenticeship program to get the best use of the apprentice levy for the business, alongside the People Manager.
Work with the People Manager to deliver management assessments and recruitment needs
A large focus will be on delivering induction training of external and internal managers to ensure consistency and that BOH managers are set for success during the training period and once in site
Deliver GPS restaurant inductions
Work with the commercial team to develop and identify talent in the BOH teams
Work with the commercial team to develop recipes and advise on the practical implementation at site level
Keep abreast of culinary trends and new methods of culinary excellence
