Christmas Party Catering Manager
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £11.50 – £12/hour
We're looking for a Christmas Catering Manager to work in Bloomsbury, Central London.
If you can demonstrate a similar work history, specialising in managing a floor space for the delivery of food service then this role is for you.
Position Purpose:
BIA People are currently recruiting a candidate on behalf of a client for a 4-week placement across the Christmas run at a site within Central London. You must be able to commit to all the dates provided for the Christmas parties.
You must be competent and experienced within the field and previous experience is necessary for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
·Must commit to the 4 week stretch of events at a site specific venue
·Flexible in your role and understand food service within small-large scale events
·Adhere to any guest and manager requests quickly and efficiently
·Able to work with initiative both in a team and independently
·Confidence in delegating a room for food service
·Knowledge in a full service from set-up to close of event. Has to be hands on with supporting delivery of staff on this
·Competent in engaging with guests
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
·Fluent in English
·Friendly and team player
·Professional and polite
·Able to carry plates and open wine is desirable and preferred
·Work the 4 week stretch with guaranteed days and hours confirmed
·Great attention to detail
·Must be able to commute to and from shifts that finish late within London
