Salary :

Due to the growth of the business we are looking to recruit an team of two cleaners to support our current teams.

As a Cleaning Operative/ Technician you will be required to carry out the following tasks:

* Deep cleaning of retail shops/cafes to include:

* Working to instructions and checklist of areas to be cleaned.

* Preparing the work location for cleaning activities to be carried out safely.

* Selecting the correct materials, tools and equipment for the work to be carried out.

* Safely carrying out the cleaning activity using the correct cleaning methods and techniques.

* Leaving the work area clean and tidy and recording evidence of clean with photographs.

* Understanding and carrying out risk assessments on sites prior to works commence.

* Understand and follow all processes and health and safety regulations

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for ensuring prompt departure time to arrive on site at customers premises within agreed timeframe.

* Driving to site – we hold national contracts and as such jobs may be based throughout the UK.

* Managing/ working as a team, delegating tasks and overseeing those tasks through to completion. (Technician only)

* Ensuring yourself and all team members adhere to PPE requirements.

* Responsible for checking site at end of visit to ensure everywhere is clean and tidy and no equipment has been left. (Technician only)

* Responsible for ensuring site is left secure and keys returned as per instructions (Technician only)

* Ensuring all waste is removed from site.

* Ensuring a library of before and after images are recorded to provide to the client where applicable. (Technician only)

* Responsible for completing timesheets with full details including mileage and times (Technician only)

* Responsible for ensuring work documents and images are returned to office at start of next shift (Technician only)

Requirements

* Full Clean UK Driving License

* Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential

* Polite with a “can do” attitude is essential.

* Flexibility – works are carried out “out of hours” and therefore shifts generally start late afternoon/early evening.

* A high level of enthusiasm and a good work ethic.
