Job Type : Temporary, Full Time

Salary : £21 – £41/hour 12 hr shifts available

We are looking for coded 6GR welders who hold MAG/MIG (135/138) OR STICK/MIG (111/136) codings for a fabrication facility in Aberdeen.
The workshop is a fun, friendly place to work with a low turnover of staff and manangement always retain good people. Many of the candidates introduced to our client have been kept on long term or secured permenant employment
8-12 weeks but potential long term work available which ultimately depends on the quality, attitude and flexibility shown by individuals.
Non-local applicants considered but no travel or accomodation is paid however we can source digs for £80-£120 per week on your behalf
Codings must be stamped by lloyds/DNV in the past 2 years and have a recent employer stamp in the past 6 months. Certification must also be their own, company certs will not be accepted.
CIS/UMB Rates (paye rates available upon request)
£21.28 basic (39 hrs)
£31.25 OT1 (after 39 hours Mon – Friday & first 4 hours Sat)
£41.67 OT2 (after 4 hours Sat & all day Sun)
Steady 60 – 72 hours per week for 8-12 weeks but hours can go up and down hence flexibility being important as hours available to work do fluctuate at times due to availability of materials in the current climate.
Referee contact details from a recent employer will be requested which must be someone you directly reported to. No HR or agency referees will be accepted
