Commercial Administrator
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £22000 – £23000/annum
Anderson Knight is looking to recruit a Commercial Administrator to join one of our clients based in South Lanarkshire. As Commercial Administrator your main responsibility will be providing administration support to the commercial team.
The main responsibilities of the role as described are as follows:
1. Managing the reception area, including answering phone calls, and redirecting them to the appropriate department.
2. Handling and processing emails received in shared mailboxes.
3. Performing general administrative tasks and ensuring adherence to 5S principles (sort, set in order, shine, standardize, sustain). This may involve organizing and maintaining databases.
4. Supporting various internal teams in managing external customer portals.
5. Processing new sales opportunities and entering relevant information into the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) database.
6. Assisting the Sales team in managing "quick-quote" core-install proposals.
7. Supporting the QS (Quantity Surveyor) in managing sub-contract order processes.
8. Creating and managing quote and project files on the company server.
9. Processing new sales orders, including updating the CRM and creating new project records on Sage (accounting software).
10. Managing new account applications, which includes updating the CRM database and Sage.

1. Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
2. A motivated and tactful individual who is eager to learn and grow in the role.
3. Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in tasks.
4. High level of computer literacy and proficiency in using Microsoft Windows Office, CRM software, and Sage accounting software.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and systems.
