Commis Chef
Job Type : Contract, Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £13.20 – £15/hour ASAP
Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Commis Chef to join Bradford Council’s Catering Team on an initial 3-month temporary contract.
This position will support the existing kitchen team which consists of the Head Chef, Senior Chef, Junior Chef, and Assistants.
Duties:
* Accurately producing meals for all levels of the food service including function and hospitality catering within Bradford Theatres
* Managing kitchen porters and catering assistants
* Managing kitchen equipment, food stock, and materials
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting all meals within the Bradford Theatres
* Liaising with performing artistes for function requests
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2-years’ experience working in a similar sized kitchen or restaurant (82 covers) or have experience of small / medium and large-scale events and function catering.
* Positive attitude and excellent work ethic
* Food Safety Qualification
Locations – Alhambra Theatre and St George’s Concert Hall (Between 20 and 30 hours available)
