Salary : £12 – £13/hour plus holiday pay
Commis Chef Role for a new Sushi restaurant
Do you have experience in Sushi or are you passionate and keen to learn to be a Sushi chef? if so then we want to hear form you!
This is a new and exciting role which is based in South Kensington.
Training will be given, however, you will need to have good knife skills!

Job role
* The Commis chef will be Measuring meal ingredients, preparing fish, cooking rice, making sushi.
* The Sushi chef will be boxing up the food and putting fresh food out
* Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor when stock is low
* Disposing and recording of the expired and spoiled food items stored in stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers
* The Commis chef to Clean and ensuring that all the work stations are organized and properly sanitized
* Preparing all the meal items to be presentable as instructed by the chef de partie
Commis Chef Requirements:
* food safety level 2 minimum
* Relevant prior work history and experience in a commercial kitchen
* Knowledge of current food health and safety regulations
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time
* Must be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
* Must have excellent organizational skills
* Ability to communicate effectively
